Crime Prevention & Community issues mtg - 10 Nov 08 at 7 pm
Greetings, I am Sergeant Jackson and I lead the Mapesbury safer neighbourhood team, with the nights closing in, it is a good time of year to review your homes security. It is time to get out and test your IR motion sensor lights, to ensure they are being activated. Also have a walk around your garden front and rear and consider "if I was a Burglar" what would I be looking for? (A broken fence, a ladder unlocked, Overgrown Bushes?) .
With this in mind I would like to invite all residents to a talk on Crime prevention and General Community issues, on Monday 10th November 2008 at 19:00hrs, at CHC, 60 Ashford Road, NW2, they have kindly offered us the use of their premises.
The council community safety unit have also agreed to attend, and they will hopefully give a short talk on what they do.
