Lovely site with lots of useful links. I would like to thank all the NW2 Residents team who have worked so hard to improve our neighbourhood, build a sense of community spirit, organise activities for the community, lobby the bureaucrats to improve our services, planted flowers under the trees, secure an allotment for the community to use, work with local police to have our concerns aired, and a myriad of other tasks undertaken, all unpaid, and done in their own precious time. Personally with 12 years living on and off in the this neighourhood and twenty years working in Cricklewood, it is a model for the future development and security for all London. If local people take charge of their destiny, organise and lobby to improve the lot of ordinary citizens, then Londons future is assured. A special thanks to Majella for all her work with the allotment, which now needs a few more folk to get involved with the youth of our area. And Rainbow park has been transformed from a glass strewn hang out for drug / drink abusing youth into a palyground for all the little ones, and the current generation of youngsters who play roller hocky, football, and generally enjoy themselves over the previuos swearing abusive youth who were a blight on the neighbourhood.
