Brent Bronze Awards at the Capital Clean Up awards

NorthWestTWO Residents' Association came third overall out of at least 231 events in 30 of London's Boroughs to scoop the Bronze Award for Brent in the Capital Clean Up Campaign for the recent "Clean Up of Cricklewood".

Brent in Bloom - hat trick!

NorthWestTWO won the Neighbourhood Award in Brent in Bloom in 2008, 2009 and 2010.

Easter Egg Hunt - Sunday 12 April 2009

Anticipation was in the air. Children were trying to peep out windows to spot hiding places only to be caught and shooed away. At the start time, many patiently waited at the gate to get in and grab their eggs. They got the rules and off they went.

Flowers planted underneath trees

Following our success in winning the Neighbourhood Award in Brent in Bloom in 2008, we used the prize of £100 to plant in the community underneath trees and provided flowering troughs by the community boards. We successfully defended our title in 2009 and with the proceeds were able to extend the community planting.

Green zone

Temple Road became the first Green Zone in Mapesbury in 2009.

Ivy Road League

Ivy Road achieved a 100 per cent score for the use of green recycling boxes in December 2008.

All residents were invited to a community fun day at Rainbow Park Children's Playground, Langton Road, NW2. Residents were shown how to plant a trough to take home to display in their front gardens to help us defend our title in Brent in Bloom

SKYRIDE - 20 September 2009

Cyclists from NorthWestTWO participated in SKYRIDE joining thousands of cyclists in an unforgettable opportunity to ride some of the world's most famous streets, traffic free, and show their communal love for the bicycle.

Tree Lights

NorthWestTWO Residents' Association submitted a bid for tree lights on Cricklewood Broadway which was approved by Cllrs Hayley Matthews, Chris Leaman and Sami Hashmi and funded by wardworking 2009/2010.
